The rooms are ok and the pool is nice. Monkeys hangout on the property in the morning.
Room and kitchens were basic and had basic facilities, room was huge! Location was great for us! Not far away from the town centre in a taxi (50 pesos) or 30 mins walk. The thing that really made our stay was the staff - they were so kind and helpful with everything and very knowledgeable about the local area.

Sábanas limpias, el baño muy funcional. El personal de recepción muy amable y resolutivo ante nuestros inconvenientes. Excelentes amenidades, cocina muy bien equipada, el primer día no tenía mucho pero reabastecieron con agua de garrafón, café, té, microondas, platos y vasos, tiene lo escencial para cocinar e incluso refrigerador. Excelente trato, incluso te brindan información de cómo transporte y lugares cerca para comer o visitar. Aunque está lejos del centro, solo sales a la carretera y hay transporte. Y la alberca es gigante

It's a big place with a big pool and private rooms that have their own bathrooms (ours did at least). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location isn't great, it's about a 30min walk into town, or a taxi which should cost about 50 pesos (in summer 2024). The facilities are definitely a bit run down and it looks like it hasn't been very well maintained for a few years. The kitchen is just about usable but only has 2 bowls and 1 cup for the entire hostel to use.
